100 VOLT GELUID SYSTEEM VOOR NOODSITUATIES

ROCK WERCHTE  & PUKKELPOP 2012

Na de dramatische afloop van het Pukkelpop festival 2012 , realiseerden de organisatoren van Rock Werchter en Pukkelpop  zich dat ze meer moesten doen om de veiligheid van de aanwezigen/deelnemers/festivalgangers/bezoekers te waarborgen.

In het geval van noodsituaties moeten alle festivalgangers continue correcte informatie ontvangen. Hiervoor maakt men gebruik van gesproken boodschappen die verspreid worden via een geluidssysteem dat over grote afstand klanken kan versturen en waarbij er sprake is van een grote geluidsdruk. Ook de STI waarde is quasi perfect.

Voor deze belangrijke taak wendde verhuurbedrijf Studio 2000 zich tot Audac en haar HS212T 2-weg hoorn luidspreker systeem.
Gebaseerd op de berekeningen van Audac heeft Studio 2000 36 van deze krachtige 12 inch mid driver hoorns geïnstalleerd op de site. Dankzij dit systeem kunnen organisatoren alle bezoekers op een duidelijke en begrijpelijke wijze verwittigen indien er sprake is van noodsituaties.

De organisatoren kozen ervoor om de 100V versies van de HS212 samen te gebruiken met de Q4 versterkers en Q4TR transformatoren om de eenvoudig van de installatie en om de grote afstanden te overbruggen.

 

Thanks to this system the organizers can inform  all visitors in a clear and understandable manner in any emergency  situation.

AUDAC   HS212 T :

 

The AUDAC HS212T is a full-range loudspeaker system engineered to provide long throw, full range sound projection in a variety of fixed in- and outdoor applications.
Its wide, smooth frequency response and high efficiency ensure high-fidelity music reproduction along with superb projection of clear,intelligible speech at very low distortion.

The HS212T features a 1.8” HF driver with an 12” LF loudspeaker combination for the best sound reproduction, and has a very special coverage pattern of 40° horizontally and vertically.
The HS212T contains the possibility to choose from power tapping for:
- 240 W, 120W, 60W @ 100V
- 8 Ohm impedance
The construction of the HS212T is made of polyester with textured EDPM black coating and a perforated aluminum grill front finish.
Behind the aluminum grill, there’s an acoustic foam assembled, which prevents rain coming into the speaker.
Due to an Ingress Protection rating (IP) of 65, this speaker will be suitable for any environment where humidity or moisture are present.
At the rear, you’ll find cable clamps to select the line transformator as desired. The cable clamps are shielded to obstruct moisture and humidity.

AMP. AUDAC   Q4:

The Q4 is a professional power amplifier which can deliver a power up to 4 x 600 Watt @ 4 Ohm, and is suitable for most common low impedance high power sound systems. The Q series are designed as no-nonsense amplifiers with only the necessary controls and connectors. This creates great simplicity in use and installation. They are built as 4 channel amplifiers with a bridge function, built-in limiter and a multipurpose protection circuit. The protection circuit detects DC malfunction, short circuit, overheating, overload and limits the signal when necessary. On the front of the amplifier, the volume of each channel can be set by an individual volume control, along with the signal, clip and protection indicator LED’s.Each channel is fitted with a balanced XLR input connector and a speakon output connector. The amplifier can be switched to bridge mode with a switch located at the back, next to the ground lift switch.

FM TRANSMITTER MIZAR 30

 

 

The MIZAR FM Stereo Radio Transmitter is a reference point for the global market of FM Transmitters. The display on the front panel can indicate and change frequency, frequency step, forward and reflected power amplifier temperature, modulation level, alarms level, emphasis, remote enable. The rear panel contains XLR balanced inputs with input level controls, BNC for MPX output from internal stereo coder (if option is present), BNC for MPX input, 2 BNC for SCA operation. There is also a DB9 for wired external control and a DB9 for serial RS232 or RS485 (internally selectable) remote control. As far as audio performances are concerned, only one word is needed: “transparent”. With a signal-to-noise ratio of 80dB, the whole dynamic of the modern digital audio sources are reproduced with high fidelity. With a crosstalk of 60dB (with stereo option) there is no chance to “misunderstand” the source of the signals. The RF output is via an N type socket. Main input is via an EMI filtered IEC power connector. The power amplifier is based modern MOSFET device. A fresh air tunnel through the transmitter keeps cool air running right through the heatsink. The amplifier is protected from damage by temperature control systems and antenna fault (SWR) monitoring. The switching-type power supply automatically adapts itself to any input voltage from 80 to 260V.
